1. What is a Power Rack?
A Power Rack is a training frame with four posts, mainly used for safe barbell training.
Adjustable J-hooks and spotter arms catch the barbell, allowing you to train safely even without a partner.
Each of our Power Racks comes standard with a pull-up bar and can be expanded individually – for example with a lat pulldown and rowing station or a Smith Machine.
This makes the Power Rack the central element of your home gym or studio.
2. What are the key differences between R8, R7 and R5 racks?
The different Power Rack series differ in stability, material thickness, height and expandability:
R8: our premium rack with 7.5 x 7.5 cm uprights and 3 mm steel thickness. It offers the most expansion options and is fully modular.
It also includes the option for height-adjustable cable systems via the R8 Bradley system. Depending on the model, the height ranges between 226 and 231 cm.
R7: built with 7 x 7 cm uprights and 2 mm steel thickness.
This rack is available in two heights (200 cm and 220 cm) and provides a solid base for versatile training.
R7 Squat Racks: also made from 7 x 7 cm uprights and 2 mm steel thickness, but designed as a 2-post rack.
These are also available in two height options for flexible use.
R5: the entry-level model with 5 x 5 cm uprights and 2 mm steel thickness.
It supports loads up to 700 kg and provides a compact solution for beginners.
3. Are R8 and R7 compatible with each other?
No, attachments are only compatible within the same series.
Due to different constructions, R7 and R8 components cannot be combined.
4. Can Power Racks be upgraded later?
Yes, our Power Racks can be expanded later – however, the extent depends on the series.
The R8 series offers the highest level of expandability with uprights, crossbars and numerous attachments.
The R7 series supports upgrades such as Jammer Arms, Smith Machine, lat pulldown and additional modules.
The R5 has more limited upgrade options but still supports accessories like Jammer Arms or a Landmine.
5. How do you use spotter arms and are they safe?
Spotter arms are attached by hooking them onto the rack uprights.
They should be positioned so they do not restrict movement but reliably catch the barbell in case of failure.
When properly adjusted, they enable safe training – especially in a home gym.
6. What are the benefits of training with a Smith Machine?
A Smith Machine guides the barbell along a fixed path and enables controlled training.
It is especially suitable for beginners and targeted muscle training, as movements are stabilized.
Loading weight plates is also particularly convenient.
7. Can you only do lat pulldowns and rows with a cable station?
No, a lat pulldown and rowing unit offers far more possibilities.
In addition to classic exercises, you can also perform bicep curls, tricep pushdowns, face pulls, lateral raises and many more.
With different attachments and accessories, you can complete a full workout.
8. Do you need floor protection under the rack?
Our racks are equipped with protective feet to prevent scratches on the floor.
However, we still recommend investing in floor protection mats. This reduces noise and protects the floor from dropped equipment.
9. How much space does a Power Rack require in a home gym?
The required space depends on the model as well as its height, width and depth.
Ceiling height and training area should be considered before purchasing.
10. Who is a Power Rack suitable for?
A Power Rack is suitable for beginners, advanced users and professionals who want to train safely with free weights.
Thanks to its expandability, it can be adapted to any training goal.
